The Twin "Tana's"

As if we aren't spectacle enough, my little blonde haired, blue eyed manly men two year olds have decided to become cross dressers.

I have no problem with their love of their sister's clothes.  In fact, I think it's pretty cute to see the way their ridiculously broad shoulders fill out the puffy sleeves of a princess shirt.  To me, it's just clothes, nothing else.

They know that they're boys.  They've covered all the basics:  They love their tools, trucks, man jeans and peeps'.  They love running around naked, peeing standing up and scratching themselves.  They love sports, loud things and beefing.  They're good to go.

So what that they stuff their tools in sparkly purses and fancy wearing floor length Hannah Montana nighties with their tie shoes?

They're comfortable and confident in their decisions and I personally think I would do more harm in forcing them into "gender appropriate" wear—at least for now.  If this continues into their school age years, I'll have to reassess my stance to balance my needs to protect them from teasing vs their need to express themselves.

For now I would like to put a sign on them (that they can't see) to tell all the haters out there to shut their mouths and let the boys have their innocence without judgement.  There are plenty of years left for them to bow to the pressure.

Here's to you my lovely Twin Tana's!!  Live it up!
