Kyan was born to be a pirate or a sailor. As you can see from his little scrunched up face as a newborn he was somewhat reminiscent of Popeye.  Perhaps that is why is so infatuated with the Spongebob's boss Mr. Krab's lingo.  For Christmas his Aunt and Uncle sent him a book which he opened, hugged to his chest and squealed "It's me own book! I love me own book!"

Aye, aye Captain Kychael.
