Save for one gender assertion by Kyan during intermission (I have a peeps!  I can’t go potty in the girl’s potty.  I’m a boy!), Disney on Ice was a success.

We took the light rail down to laceName>TargetlaceName> laceType>CenterlaceType>, trekked down to our surprisingly good seats and waited for the show.  The lights went down, Mickey and the crew came out and the look of wonder on the kid’s faces, Kyan’s especially since this was his first show, made the butt load of money we spent on the event well worth it.

The kids sat quietly, watching their favorite characters sing and skate around the ice, only speaking to wonder when so and so would be coming out. 

In all, I’m glad we went and I’m glad that the kids weren’t their usual whiny selves.  It was great to have an outing with just the big kids that included Daddy.

Maybe we’ve turned a new leaf and the nudgey kids of past are gone and we’re slowly progressing to the stage of smooth sailing…or maybe it was just a good day.
