Happy Birthday Alex and Aiden! And Happy Thursday to everyone.

We've officially made it.  In our family, the first birthday is a reason to celebrate simply because we accomplished the seemingly impossible task of keeping a baby alive for the first year.  This year, we are doubly accomplished because our two little Kibbles and Bits are 1 today.  Hooray!

We made it through endless crying, puking, fighting, crawling, walking, mess making and chaos.  Now we just have to hunker down and make it through the next year of fighting, walking, running, mess making and chaos....sigh.

At least I get to eat two cakes this year!  That in itself is reason to celebrate.
