I like to peruse other mommy blogs from time to time to see how other people are coping with their insanity.  One of the ones that I have liked lately is http://goddessinprogressblog.com .  I commented on a post of favorite things that start with D (why I didn’t think to pick donut is beyond me, I’m somewhat ashamed…) and I have since been assigned the letter F.

So, for your reading pleasure my top ten list of Favorite F’s.

1. Frozen Food— How can you not love having a fully cooked meal waiting for you in the freezer?  On days when you can’t manage to boil water, it is comforting to be able to just pop something in the microwave and be done. Oh yeah, and ice cream.

2. Fat Lorenzo’s— A pizza place in South Minneapolis that is beyond craveable. I actually dreamt about it during some of my many pregnant months.  Plus, they deliver!

3. Fathers—A great thing whether they’re yours or your kids.  I couldn’t survive right now without an attentive Daddy and the dedication of my Dad, Bapa. 

4. Forever Friends—Friends that you have known so long that there are no pretenses.  You can talk about whatever, whenever and know that nothing you can say will really freak them out.

5. Fishy Crackers— What’s not to love about these eternally delightful little snacks?  The cheddar ones are considered a main food group by my children, the chocolate ones by me.

6. Funny People—I love funniness in every form—TV, books, movies, stand up.  If it’s funny, I dig it.

7. Fast Food—I have to admit, there is very little chance that I will give up my love affair with fast food.  There are few things in life more comforting than going through a drive thru and pulling away with a whole bag of greasy love.  Makes me hungry just thinking about it.

8. Facebook—The website I love to hate.  I resisted Facebook for quite a while, but now find myself addicted to my wall.  I love being able to be nosy and get little glimpses into other people’s lives without actually having to have awkward “catching up” conversations.

9. Fiction, both real and “creative non”—I love to read.  I’ll read almost anything as long as it is interesting.  I really love essays right now because they’re short enough for my limited attention span.

10. Fingernail Polish—I have ugly toes.  Need I say more?
